#barefacedcreativemedia internships
I love giving talented students, college grads or those who are looking for a break in the publishing world the opportunity to grow their gifts and find ways to walk forward in their dreams and callings.
Over the years, I have had the honor of mentoring many creatives-in-training and have had great joy in seeing them grow and go on to accomplish some amazing things.
If you are a college grad desiring an apprenticeship, college or high school student in the publishing (books or magazines), marketing, social media, graphic design, illustration, or web field and are flexible, self-motivated, can work on a deadline & are willing to jump in the deep end, I can give you the opportunity to grow your skills and your portfolio.

"My journalism career would not be where it is today if it weren’t for my internship with Amber Weigand-Buckley in Springfield, Missouri. I started working with her my sophomore year in college, and that set the trajectory of my entire career.
Amber trusted me to write cover stories, come up with headlines, give input on the content of the articles, sit in on high-profile meetings and even interview top artists. No other mentor before or since then trusted me with so much responsibility, nor did anyone offer such thoughtful and wise guidance along the way.
Through my internship with Amber, I traveled with her to cover the Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards. While we were there, I interviewed some of Christian music’s most renown artists, and the important networking connections I made during those trips are ones I still have to this day.
My internship with Amber taught me the fundamentals of reporting as well as how to capture an audience’s attention. The skills I learned under her leadership are ones I still use today in my current position.
My career would not be where it is today without all of her support and leadership.

She has the unique ability to get into the mind of her clients and unfold their established branding to increase their vision and impact in the marketplace.
